WCCB organized a virtual training programme for the forest officials on “An overview of PMLA and Investigation of ‘Cases booked under Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972’ under PMLA as Predicate Offences”, on 09-07-2021.
DD(C&T)/RDD (NR), WCCB spoke on the relevance of financial investigation of wildlife crime cases whereas key speaker Shri Daulat Kumar, IRS, Dy. Director, Director of Enforcement, Patna, gave a detailed presentation on PMLA, money laundering, techniques of investigation, various schedule offences, including WPA, 1972, and case studies etc.
84 officers of various ranks, including DFO/DCF, CF, CCF and APCCF from across the States, attended the virtual training.
