WCCB NR conducted a training sensitization program for newly recruited Batch of 212 Inspectors of Customs and CGST, at National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Faridabad, on 18-05-2022.
Topics covered were 'Overview of Wildlife Crime, CITES & WPA, 1972, Interface Between Customs & WCCB, Relevant Provisions under the Customs Act, 1962 & Foreign Trade Policy, and Wildlife Contrabands in Illegal Trade" along with a practical session on Identification of Wildlife Contrabands.
