To sensitize the masses aware about the illegalities of “wet markets”, WCCB organized an awareness_program at Bamunimaidan Wet-Market, Guwahati on 09-07-2021, in collaboration with Aranyak NGO, as part of WCCB’s "Operation Wetmark".
The program was focused on spreading awareness against wild-meat trade in wet-markets which is most often sold as consumable-meat due to ignorance. Around 50 people, including shopkeepers and general public, participated in the program.
