On 06-10-2021, WCCB/SR conducted a sensitization program at Chennai Airport, as part of Wildlife Week 2021 celebrations. 40 persons, comprising of officials of Airlines, Customs, Cargo & Parcel Services, Immigration Bureau and CISF, attended the Program.
Dr. Kirupasankar M, Regional Dy. Director, WCCB delivered a lecture on ‘Conservation of Indian Wildlife, Modus Operandi of WL Crimes; Role of WCCB & Airports in Prevention of Illegal Wildlife Trade’. A hands-on training session on Identification of wildlife articles for the participants was also conducted.
