WCCB NR organized a virtual Sensitization Program for the officials of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on the Topic “Convergence of Wildlife Trafficking with Drugs Trafficking”, on 12-11-2021.
Various aspects of convergence such as Shipment Convergence, Hub Convergence, Route Convergence, Organization Convergence, Jurisdiction Convergence, Barter Trade, Camouflage, Multiple Trade Lines, Money Laundering of proceeds generated from drugs trafficking through Legal Wildlife Business etc. were discussed during the program. 16 NCB Officials in the rank of Intelligence Officer, Superintendent, Assistant Director and Zonal Director attended the program.
